Healer. This is a rather loaded word. This word, depending on one's perspective conjures up images of shamans sitting cross-legged at a sacred fire, a clog-wearing, scrub-donning nurse, a massage therapist, a stay-at-home-sandwich generation woman who cares for her aging parents as well as her school aged children, a Reiki practitioner, a physician juggling a private practice and hospital rounds, well..I'll assume right now that you are pickin' up what I'm throwin' down.
Healer. This individual is often sought after for comfort and counsel, for taking it all upon their individual shoulders, and for making all the owies go away. Yes, owies. The physical, spiritual and emotional owies that we the people encounter daily.
Is everyone suited to be a healer? I dare say, absolutely no.
Healers are energetically and authentically unique.
